How young is to young........

..............to lose your damn mind??  Pardon my language, but you'll say the same thing after you read this post.

How early is to early to have signs of dementia??  I mean I am only 28, but y'all it's so bad!!!  I am pretty sure I should have myself checked out.

I have locked my keys in my car 3 times since May and 4 times in one year.  Most recently on Friday at my sweet friend, K's house.  So embarrassing!  Thankfully, I got dinner out of the deal!  I have locked my keys in my car at least once a year since I've been in PT school (3 years y'all!!).  We won't even count the number of times I lock myself out of my own house.  I have had to call my father-in-law so many times to come let me in.  We finally have a key outside because both he and my husband got so tired of getting those phone calls and having to drop what their doing.

A couple of weeks ago I left my lunch box at school in a random classroom.  Luckily, one of my guy friends at school was still in the building and able to go and get and keep for me.  Lucky girl!

Yesterday I left my computer at school, plugged in the wall on the floor in a classroom.  No, you read that correctly I left my computer at school. Lucky girl again, because that same friend was able to pick it up for me.

Not to mention last year I forgot my cellphone at school and had to have someone pick it up for me.  Ugh!

My BFF at school literally reminds me at the end of the day, things I should  not forget for the next day because she knows I will get to school, forget something and have a fit!  I have a planner, y'all!!! And it looks like chicken scratch because I write everything in it.  We even keep a dry-erase calendar on the refrigerator!

This doesn't even count all the little things, like my hubby telling me something, that I forget.  Well, let's be honest..............that might be a selective hearing loss issue.

Can one lose their mind at the age of 28??  I build a pretty strong case...................just sayin'

Go Tigers! 8-0

This past weekend we were fortunate enough to luck up onto some Clemson football tickets and a parking pass.  By luck up, I mean they were fantastic seats on the lower level about the 25 yard line and the parking pass was at most a 2 minute walk from the stadium.  Ashley and I and two of our very best friends, J and A, loaded up the car on Friday night to prepare for an early Saturday morning drive down to Clemson for a noon game.  Although leaving at 5:30 am is not early for me, the rest of the crew was not to thrilled with the idea, but we all were so excited we pushed through.  Here are a few pictures of our stellar tailgate and fun times!

The boys and their toys.  This took some serious research and careful consideration, but worked perfectly thanks to J!!!!

The most stellar tailgate in Clemson!

My sweet BFF!

The boys enjoying the finished product!

Enjoying the game!

The BEST part of Clemson football games!!!!

God's Country!

We had so much fun; however, since it was a noon game we were home by 7:30 that evening and in bed by 8:00 pm and sound to sleep!

In case you live under a rock, the Tigers are now 8-0 and on the move!!!  Here we come ACC Championship!

Blah

My life has been pretty boring this week.  You know it's the same old stuff............run, go to school, study, write a paper, eat dinner, go to bed..................get up and do it all over again.  We haven't even had anything exciting happening on the weekends.  Not that anyone even reads my blog anymore, but if you're wondering that's the reason for the lack of blog posts.  Hopefully something worth writing about will happen and I can share with everyone!

Stay tuned..........................

Serious Business is serious business

So, back in January I Facebook stalked an acquaintance (whom I now call my friend) living in my neighborhood who ran with a few other ladies.  My school schedule had gotten pretty crazy and I was looking for a little motivation for running and needed help with a little time management.  These ladies are all teachers and run at 5 am before going to work.  While I wasn't thrilled about the early mornings or the fast pace at which they ran, I really needed to get with it.  So, I started running with them...............and have never looked back.

These ladies are not just my running partners, but my support group, voice of reason, ears to vent to, and most importantly my friends.  Their friendship means the world to me and I am so thankful I Facebook stalked them and found them!

One of my friend's husband has named our group Serious Business because we are just that......Serious Business!!!

Since January I have:
1. dramatically improved my running pace
2. dramatically improved my self-confidence
3. lost about 10 pounds
4. ran my first race, Come See Me 5k
5. training for my first half-marathon in November
6. have new friends that I truly cherish.
7. have learned to make friends with the early mornings, 5 days a week

My sweet friends have been giving me a hard time that I have yet to write about them in my blog, so hope you enjoy!!
